New for 2016 is ISLE’s Airtech fusion-lite construction—a process that results in a lighter, stiffer SUP board. Durability is definitely one of this board’s strong points, and that’s only improved with the introduction of the Airtech technology.
In this ISLE Airtech 10′ review, we’ll be taking a look at the technical specs, what comes with the board, the ISLE warranty, and some of the most frequently asked questions.
Please note: This is an old review of a currently discontinued model. For 2018, we recommend the iROCKER ALL-AROUND 10′, 10’6″ iROCKER CRUISER, and 10’6″ BLACKFIN Model X. For a complete breakdown of how these two popular inflatable SUP lines compare for this season, read the iROCKER vs. ISLE comparison section on our website.

Review: ISLE Airtech 10′ Overview

The mid-sized ISLE Airtech 10′ iSUP is a good fit for paddlers of all skill levels, and the board features the popular 2+1 fin setup. There is a single removable center fin along with two small fins for great tracking in both flat water and surf conditions.
Mounted on the tail of the board is a high-strength stainless steel D-ring for SUP leash attachment or towing, and the board includes both a center handle and nose handle. There is also an expandable bungee cord system that does a good job of keeping your gear securely attached to the board.

Recommended PSI on the ISLE Airtech 10′ is 15 PSI, and total inflation time is less than 5 minutes.
The durability of this board is excellent, due to the ding resistant, military-grade PVC and drop stitch construction throughout. The drop stitch is machine coated with a special bonding and sealing layer, removing any possibility of human error during this important process.
Of course, ISLE’s introduction of the Airtech Fusion-Lite technology this year has further increased overall durability and stiffness. The Airtech 10′ is now 30% lighter than comparable boards on the market.
As with any inflatable SUP, the portability of ISLE’s Airtech 10′ is outstanding. The board fully inflates to the recommended pressure of 15 PSI in under 5 minutes, and when deflated, it rolls up and fits neatly into the included backpack.
